Update

I recently finished my research of other schools in the county with programs like the one we have at Thomas Dale and have found that many are using a similar format with certain adjustments.  Most schools have gone from a once a week program to an every-day program like we have at Dale now.  The biggest differences involved how the students could utilize the time period and which teachers had access to their students on any given day, meaning not all teachers could meet with students each day.  I also surveyed the student body on how the felt about the enrichment time period, what they liked, did not like, and what they would change if they could.  The feedback gathered will be used to modify what is going on immediately and will be used to identify trouble areas that need to be corrected.  i have discovered that students will give some of the most honest and helpful feedback when dealing with a program that affects them like this one currently does.
